Kingston Digital introduced the updated Canvas line of memory cards. Called Canvas Plus, they are the first Kingston removable media to support UHS-II. At the same time, devices for working with MobileLite Plus memory cards that support the increased transfer speeds provided by Canvas Plus cards are presented.
Canvas Plus lineup includes SD and microSD memory cards
The Canvas Plus line includes SD and microSD memory cards integrated in the Select Plus, Go! Plus and React Plus. The first ones went on sale last quarter. All of them are suitable for photo and video cameras, smartphones and tablets with Android OS, quadcopters and action cameras, including those capable of shooting 4K and 8K video.
Up to 512 GB SD and MicroSD Canvas Select Plus cards are labeled Class 10 UHS-I and show read speeds of up to 100 MB / s. Canvas Go Maps! Plus are labeled Class 10 UHS-I U3 and A2. They demonstrate read speeds of up to 170 MB / s and write speeds of up to 90 MB / s. These cards are also available in volumes up to 512 GB. Finally, Canvas React Plus cards comply with the Class 10 UHS-II U3 specification. For them, a read speed of up to 300 MB / s and a write speed of 260 to MB / s are declared (in the case of SD cards); read speeds of up to 285 MB / s and write speeds of 165 MB / s (microSD). The maximum capacity of these cards is 256 GB.
The MobileLite Plus device is designed to work with microSD and SD memory cards. It supports UHS-II and USB 3.2 Gen 1. It will be possible to buy MobileLite Plus either separately or complete with React Plus memory cards.
